View Full Version : Christmas Away From Home mitchteryosa 11-21-2007, 07:14 PM How do you celebrate Christmas away from home? Pinay 11-22-2007, 12:14 PM this was year ago ha - but just wanted to share. I still put up my Christmas tree but in my real home wala kaming tree. I decorated my trees and call up friends to at least meet on the 25th evening and we planned for exchanging of gifts. Though there were only a few of us and inspite the unchristian environment we still felt it. Our home is full of Christmas music -- so i think medyo magaan ang lungkot dahil sa layo ng pamilya and of course there was the long distance call on christmas day and new year -- expected talaga yan. and in that 3 years -- on christmas day and new yeaer's day I was really at work. bt tapos ng work na ung mga like-at-home (Pinas) activities namin. mitchteryosa 11-22-2007, 04:59 PM Go to Church and sleep. Boring no? novemberrain 11-22-2007, 10:57 PM 24th Decemeber [noche buena]@ at home after 6 o'clock p.m. As usual there will be a small christmas party among the flat occupants hosted by the land lady then matutulog na ready for another working day kinabukasan. 25th December [christmas day] @ it's a working day. There will be some christmas activities inside the club for christian members, like santa klaus distributing gifts, christmas carols and santa's grotto and christmas brunch at the resort's restaurants. it's somewhat boring but am already used to it. novemberrain 11-22-2007, 11:07 PM aside from being a working day [s] walang spirit ng christmas. if ever meron man dito sa aking pinagta trabahoan, it's just for the sake of business kasi meron din namang mga christians na pumapasok sa resort tuwing christmas and we need them to feel na it's christmas para mabenta ang aming christmas brunch.:-/ Jean Grey 11-29-2007, 05:13 AM Maranasan ko kya ito?
