My developers have been using Ubuntu 8.10 (Intrepid) on their notebooks it appears to be very good. So good that we convinced one of our clients to use Ubuntu for the deployment of their point-of-sale system. I suggest you give Ubuntu a spin -- http://www.ubuntu.com

What is the best quality computer motherboard, and Operating System in the Philippines?
I want my son to buy a brand new computer and I kept him busy on canvassing for the prices. Can anyone give me some tips on buying computer? Thanks a lot.

I want him to buy the whole complete set and with printer too, but I have no idea what products (brands) are in the market. Sorry, I've been away from the Philippines for about 12 years and during the time when I was there I did not pay so much attention on computers although I've used one at work.

nice. but where is bitstop and how he can contact them? if it's on the net there is little chance he'd be able to check right now as I know my boy want to see what to buy.
i'm serious, he already gone to SM computer hub. i'm sending him money today and he'll probably get what he had an eye on.
